Evna Frances Carnes, 83, of Glasgow, Kentucky, Formerly of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020. Evna enjoyed reading, and spending time with family. She rode horses, and loved to dance. Evna had a story for everything and every conversation, and enjoyed spending time with her Chihuahua Poncho She was an avid University of Kentucky fan.

She was born on October 13, 1936 in Sonora, Kentucky to Charles and Eula (Sullivan) Hill. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Henry Carnes and Sister, Doris Carnes.

Evna is survived by her Son, Charles Carnes, Daughter, Brenda (Danny) Taylor, Daughter, Karen (James) Nash, Son, David (Angie) Carnes, Son, Henry (Kim) Carnes, Jr., Step-Daughters, Nora and Cindy, Grandchildren, Clayton Carnes, Eric MacGeorge, Amy Scott, Karl Eiden, Willie Eiden, Stacy Titus, Amanda Carnes, David Carnes, Jr., Nicole Carnes, Arthur Asher, Michelle Basil. Evna also leaves behind to cherish her memory 22 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, and along with a host of Grandchildren and Family in Northern Indiana.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Family will give words of comfort at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at the Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
