A. Dean Wilson, 91, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020.

Dean was a United Methodist Minister for 35 years.

Dean was born on May 9, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to Andrew and Lavona Wilson, with three brothers and two sisters. The family lived in Melvindale, Michigan then moved to South Rockwood where Dean Met Joanne Winters, whom he married August 26, 1949.

Dean attended God's Bible School in Cincinnati, Ohio; Indiana Wesleyan University, then transferred to Nyack College, Nyack, New York, graduating in 1959.

Dean was licensed as a Christian and Missionary Alliance minister in 1959, later transferring to the Evangelical United Brethren Church that united with the Methodist Church in 1968, making him a United Methodist minister. Dean served churches in Pennsylvania: Central City, Somerset, Altoona, Nescopeck, McClure and Lewiston.

Retiring in 1992 Dean and Joanne moved to Northumberland where they lived for 20 years, then moved to Louisville, Kentucky to be near son Daniel and his wife Nancy.

Dean is survived by his loving Wife of 72 years, Ruth Joanne Wilson, Sons, Daniel Harold Wilson (Nancy), and Theodore Lee Wilson (Teresa), Sister, Irene Timmons, 6 Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Grandchildren,
