Dennis Ray Finck, 69, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020. He was a 1970 graduate of DuPont Manual High School, where he was active in the Alumni Association. Dennis was a lifelong realtor and the founder of Finck Company Realtors. He was a member of the Louisville Ski Club, Kentucky Football Officials Association, and Northside Christian Church. He had previously served on the Kentucky Derby Festival Committee and was an avid fan of the University of Louisville Cardinals, where he served as a volunteer for the Athletics Department.

He was born on May 21, 1951, and grew up in the Germantown Neighborhood in Louisville. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Mary (Warnig) Finck; and grandmother of whom he was very fond, Catherine Rogers.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Armstrong; children, Jennifer Parker, Jeremy Kappell (Lisa), and Jessica Batman (Darren); brother, Richard Finck (Marilyn Howard); niece, Angela Derham (Bill); nephew, Rich Finck (Nicole); grandchildren, Matthew, Morganne, Mikaylyn, Landon, Ashlynn, Mackenzie, Jacob, Madeleine, and Brooklynn; and great-niece, Emma.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His funeral service will be held privately, and Dennis will be laid to rest at Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown, Indiana.

Contributions in Dennis’ memory may be made to Hosparus - the Community Hospice of Southern Indiana (502 Hausfeldt Lane, New Albany, IN 47150).
