James Allen Smith , 54, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020 surrounded by his family.

James was a sports fanatic and lived for his son. He was a 1984 graduate of Valley High School and was everybody's handyman who could fix anything, who was selfless with his time and talents.

He was born on December 29, 1965 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late James Smith and Earlene (King) Smith Woodfin. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Nancy Wilcoxson and Terry Smith.

James is survived by his son, Blake Smith; siblings, Patsy (Steve) Fitzpatrick, Scottie (Lou) Smith, Tammy Ennis; former wife, Dana Walker, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The family will be celebrating his life at 2pm on Sunday, June 28th at the Southwest Assembly of God Church, 4998 Valley Station Road.
