Lottie Carlisle, 89, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020. Lottie was a member of South Jefferson Christian Church, and belonged to the Women's Circle Group. She enjoyed to travel, laughing, and was always doing word search books. Lottie in her younger years left South Carolina and moved to Washington DC for work opportunities. She wed her husband on October 27, 1959 in Washington DC, who served 30 years in the Army. Their Military Life resulted in moves to various Army Bases around the World.

She was born on December 12, 1930 in Reevesville, South Carolina to Morris and Marcella (Green) Stewart. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Willie Lee Carlisle, Daughter, Odetta Carlisle, Parents, Sisters, Catherine Stewart, Wilma Cobb, and Addie DeLee, Brothers, Joe Stewart, Lewis Stewart, and Willie Stewart, Grandchild, Gyasi Spotts.

Lottie is survived by her loving, Son, Jerry Carlisle, Daughter, Annette (Garry) Carlisle-Spotts, Sisters, Mary Shinn, and Dorothy Martin, Grandchildren, Jakina Turner, Amber Carlisle, Jerika Carlisle, Camillia Carlisle, Alicia Carlisle, Jessica Carlisle, Johnna (Paris) Lewis-Carlisle, Shukura (Anoshua) Adams and Annetta (B.J.) Barnes, Great-Grandchildren, Ge'Anne Carlisle, Tamia Carlisle, Emonie Carlisle, Aston Turner, Jayce Turner, Jordyn Carlisle, Elisa Carlisle, Halivah Barnes, Havier Barnes, Benjamin Barnes, Hope Barnes, Noah Barnes, Gemari Spotts, and Aidan Adams.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Newcomer, Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, at the Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Services will be held at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 10:00 am.
