Terry Joe Appell

Terry Joe Appell, 70, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2020. He retired from Deam Lake and loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. Terry also enjoyed tractors.

He was born on April 12, 1949 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Joseph and Edith (Wernke) Appell. Terry was also preceded in death by his sister, Judy Watson. Terry is survived by his brothers, Gary and Gerry Appell; aunt, Wanda Wernke; and cousins, Mark and Greg Wernke.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Friendship Cemetery in New Albany.
