Keith Edward Hancock, 71, of Ekron, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020.

Keith was born on December 27, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Hazel Hancock. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Brother, William M. Hancock, Son, Brian Hancock, and Grandchildren, Jordan Strange, and Jeremiah Strange.

Keith was a devoted fan of the University of Kentucky basketball team and the Indianapolis Colts. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, cooking and gardening. He loved the Kentucky State Fair, and won several blue ribbons. In his retirement he designed Susan's alpaca farm. Keith loved spending time with his family, and many farm animals especially Boots and Kitty.

Keith is survived by his loving Wife of 17 years, Susan L. Hancock, Daughter, Barbie (P.J.) Zwanzig, Step-Son, William Paul (Kimberly) Strange, Jr., Step-Daughter, Melissa Strange (Curtis) Snively, Daughter-In-Law, Leslie Hancock, Sister, Yvonne (Ralph) Lee, Nephews, Kevin and Anthony Lee, Grandchildren: Josh, Tommy, Ravyn, Kaylee, Brandon, and Liam, Brother-In-Law, Larry (Terri) Hainline, Sister-In-Law, Kathy Bielefeld, a host of other loving family members, and special thanks to Aunt Flo.

A gathering for Keith's family and friends will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A celebration of his life will be at 11:30 am on Saturday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY).

The family requests that contributions in Keith’s memory be made to American Lung Association.
