Luther Earl Gardner Jr., 92, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019. Luther was a member of First Virginia Ave Missionary Baptist Church. He was a faithful member of "The Brotherhood", and an Usher.
He was born on March 14, 1927 in Louisville, Kentucky to Luther and Mary (Cole) Gardner. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers, Guy Cole, and Patrick Gardner, Sisters, Mary Catherine McCord, and Anna Jean Carlton.
Luther is survived by his, Nephews, Michael McCord, and John (Cherie) McCord, Nieces, Cynthia Wimberly, and Paula Gardner, Sister-In-Law, Vera Gardner. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Church Members, and extended family.
His Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at First Virginia Avenue Missionary Baptist Church.
