Jasmine R. (Duncan) McNew, 20, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019. Jasmine loved Culinary Arts, especially baking. She loved music, especially playing her cello, drawing, and being with her daughters, Emma and Mattie.

She was born on March 16, 1999, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Steven Trusty and Brandy (Duncan) Fogg. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Judy Duncan.

Along with her parents, Jasmine is survived by her loving wife, Xenovia McNew; daughters, Emma and Mattie; siblings, Virginia (Christian), Kelsey, Hailey, and Bailey; grandparents, Steve (Mary) Trusty, Kelly Whayne, and Mike Duncan; niece, Castella; and stepfather, Alan Fogg.

Memorial Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. Her Memorial Service will be at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Jasmine’s memory be made to Kosair Charities.
