She was born on May 22, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to Arthur and Wilma Thompson. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gary Kohn Sr., and sister Vicki Thompson Wooten.
Beverly is survived by her Sons, Cody Kohn and Gary Kohn, Sisters, Cheryl (Rick) Wells and Barbara Vighil, Grandchildren, Caylee Kohn, and Ava Kohn.
A gathering for Beverly's family and friends will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A celebration of her life will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Sweeden Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Sweeden, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Beverly’s memory be made to American Cancer Society or Hosparus of Louisville.
