Deacon Timothy D. Drake, was born on October 16, 1965 to Pastor Earl Drake and Mauldia B. Thurman in Louisville, Kentucky. He attended Doss High School and graduated in 1984. He worked at Yamamoto for many years until he was no longer able to go due to illness.

Deacon Drake confessed his life to Christ at a young age, at Cable Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. Later, he rededicated his life at New Beginnings Empowerment Temple; whereby, he became an ordained Deacon and Honorary member of the Brothers Keepers.

Deacon Drake leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his Wife, Janeen Jones Drake, his Daughters, Fantasia, Di Jonnaise, Kimberly Drake, Forrona Johnson and Shavonda Oliver. Step Daughters, Jasmine Lusk, Michelle Dennis, Janae Kelley and Destinee Williams. Also, 7 Grandsons and 5 Sisters, Linda (David) Johnson, Gina Upshaw, Magenta, Mignette and Maya Drake. 2 Brothers, Earl III and Tommy Drake. Parents Leland E. Thurman, Pastor Earl Jr. and Jackie Drake, a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.

Deacon Drake was a Loving Husband, Father, Brother, Son, Grandfather, Uncle, and Friend. He Loved whole heartily and will be Greatly Missed.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 from 10 am until 12 pm at the Newcomer, Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions- Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY) His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 12 pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel
