Donald Lee Harris, Jr., 64, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. Donald was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. and a long-time member of the American Legion Bonnie Sloan Post 28 in New Albany.
He was born on September 27, 1954, in Tacoma, Washington, to the late Donald, Sr., and Loveda (Hardin) Harris. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn E. Harris.
Donnie is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Pamela Ann (Wooldridge) Harris; daughter, Brittany Leeann Harris; sister, Diana Miller; brother, Kenneth Harris; sister, Joyce Stettenbenz; brother, Albert Harris; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and 1 great-great-nephew.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown, Indiana.
