She was born on August 16, 1927 in Taylorsville, Kentucky to the late Edward and Anna (Dickey) Redmon. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Mudd, granddaughter, Erica Brooke (Thompson) Board, siblings; Martha Lee Redmon, Anna Mae Redmon, Thomas Redmon, Jr. and Eldon Norwood Redmon.
Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Sherry Mudd Johnson (James), grandchildren Andrea Thompson Mudd of Taylorsville, KY, James Todd Johnson (Tina) of Shelbyville, KY, and Ryan Johnson (Amy) of Shelbyville, KY. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; Katalin Williams (Orion), Andrew Goodlett, Archie Johnson, Conner Johnson, Colton Board, Ethan Johnson, one great-great grandson Oakley Smith and siblings; Edward Hamilton Redmon (Margaret), Dorothy Marie Flaherty (Joseph), Betty Sue Davis (Ben), Joan Coy and Larry Dale Redmon (Pam).
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Valley Cemetery in Taylorsville, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Mary’s memory be made to Open Door Christian Center (2345 Taylorsville Road Bloomfield, KY 40008).
