Lisa Cecile Littlefield Simon, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, entered Heaven's Gates on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 9:06 PM.

She was born on February 8, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky to Wendell and Mary (Kelly) Littlefield. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lee Littlefield; son, Mikey Cissell and daughter, Maria Christina Cissell.

Lisa enjoyed cooking for others and putting smiles on their faces, she loved music and to dance. She was a devout catholic and a women of prayer. Most of all she was a mother, devoted wife, a daughter, sister and friend.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Kurt Simon; children, Gary Morris, Jeremiah Johnson (Angela), Mark Cissell (Sara), Christian Cissell, Cecile Cissell, John Cissell and Adam Simon; father, Wendell Littlefield; brother, Kirk Littlefield (Marcia); grandchildren, Kariah Cissell, Isaiah Johnson, Alexandra Cissell, Ayden Cissell, Gabriel Johnson, Keedan Cissell, Faevyn Cissell, Aubrey Cissell, Zaelijah Cissell and MyKaiah Cissell; three nephews and two nieces; best friends, Betty Manakee and Naomi Barr and her beloved dog, Annie Simon.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 2 PM to 8 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243).

The family requests that contributions in Lisa's memory be made to The Lord's Kitchen (2732 S 5th St, Louisville, KY 40208), Wayside Christian Mission (432 E Jefferson St, Louisville, KY 40202) or U of L's Resilient Families Project Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences (317 Life Scieneces Building University of Louisville, Louisville, KY 40292).
