Keith Allen Becht, 56, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana, with his family by his side. Keith was a member of the American Legion Post 42 and was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church, both in Floyds Knobs. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and advocate and supporter for anyone who suffered from a paralyzing disability. Keith had a big heart and never let his disability keep him down or from having fun.

He was born March 8, 1962, in New Albany, Indiana, to Louise C. (Bowe) and the late Earl J. Becht.

Along with his mother, Keith is survived by his sisters, Barbara Allen (J.R.), Cindy Becht, Sharon Harvey (Rick), and Melissa Matthews (David); brothers, Kevin J. Becht, Steven J. Becht, Eric Becht (Lisa), and John A. Becht (Tracie); and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.

Memorial Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon Friday, April 20, 2018, in the chapel of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church. His Memorial Mass will follow at 12:00 Noon with burial to follow at a later date in the church cemetery. A Comfort Meal will be served following the funeral mass.

Floral Arrangements may be sent to the church or expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Frazier Rehab (220 Abraham Flexner Way, Louisville, Kentucky 40202).
