Donald James "Don" Didelot, 58, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017. Don was a production worker for the Ford Truck Plant in Louisville, Kentucky, and was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church in Floyds Knobs. Don will always be remembered for his love of hunting, fishing, NASCAR, and traveling. Of all his interests and hobbies, his true love was always for his family.
Don was born on June 9, 1959, in Seaford, Delaware, to Mary I. "Jean" (Mattingly) Didelot and the late James Edward Didelot.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his 6 siblings, Patty King (Bill), Dave Didelot (Luanne), Joe Didelot (Lisa), Mary Ann Moberly (Jeff), Frank Didelot (Karla), and Bill Didelot (Ann); his significant other, Barbara Singleton; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November, 24, 2017, at Newcomer-Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church in the chapel (5719 St. Mary's Road, Floyds Knobs, Indiana 47119) with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital or St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church.
