Joyce Lynn (Poteet) Holley, 66, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on November 8, 2017. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and loved to do puzzles, seek-and-find books, coloring, and collecting pig figurines.

Joyce was born on February 2, 1951, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Marvin and Mayme (Barnes) Poteet. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Ralph Poteet, Ruth Griffith, and Brenda Anderson.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 23 years, Charles Edward Holley; siblings, Charles "Logan" Poteet and Patricia Arnold; beloved pet, Scooter; and daughter, Alisa Henry of Alexandria, Virginia.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Her Funeral Ceremony will be held Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Joyce's wishes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Newcomer-Southern Indiana Chapel for funeral expenses.
