William Anthony "Bill" Ross
1941 - 2017

William Anthony Ross "Bill", 75, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on February 20, 2017. He retired from National City Bank, in Ft. Wayne Indiana, where he enjoyed being involved in community service and non profit boards and organizations.

Bill loved spending time at his cabin in northern Michigan, where he could be found fly fishing and serving in AuSable River conservation efforts. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his seven grandchildren.

He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Ft. Wayne, and Southeast Christian Church in Louisville.

Bill was born on October 12, 1941 in Cass City, Michigan to the late Lester and Helen Ross.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Janet L. Ross; children, Amy Sarin (Vivek) and Michael Ross (Jennifer); his grandchildren; Kayla, Adeline, Braden, Cameron Sarin and Kendall, Cassadie and Allie Ross; his brother, James Ross (Linda) of Santa Fe, New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Southeast Christian Church (920 Blankenbaker Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40223), with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at church. Burial will be held at Cave Hill Cemetery.
