Denise Gill, 59, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Baptist Health Louisville. She was born on January 8, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky, the sixth child out of seven to Elizabeth Maratty and the late John Maratty Sr. She was a contractor with the United States Army Corp of Engineers.
In addition to her father she is preceded in death by three brothers, Larry Maratty, John Maratty Jr. and Gary Maratty.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Gill; her loving daughter, Devin Maratty; three sisters, Kasondra Wesley, Phyllis Newman and Juanita Hayden; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Denise's wishes for her family to celebrate her life privately. Arrangements under the direction of Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Louisville Chapel.
