Keith was born in Louisville on August 4, 1960, the son of Joseph and Willie Mae Otis. Keith loved God, life, family and friends. The way he lived his life was a testament to his faith.
In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his brother, Clayton Otis and sister, Darlene Young.
He leaves his sisters, Joyce Beacham and Tammy Doyle (William), brother, Larry Otis; girlfriend, Shannon; children, Angela Flanagan, Lativia Effinger, Joseph Keith Effinger, Keith Q. Robinson, Jovan Knight, Sheryl Knight, Tyshawn Nuby, and Tremaine Wilson; grandchildren, Kailyn, Jaylen, JaNaye, Alaura, Malia, Carman, K'Naz, Lativia II, Christian, Tyrell, Tyshawn, Serenity, Jaelyn, and Jovan Jr.; and a host of extended family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Monday, October 12, 2015 at Greater Galilee Baptist Church (3918 W. Broadway, Louisville, KY 40211) with visitation at the church from 10:00 am until time of service. Burial at Green Meadows Cemetery will follow services.
