He was born on May 3, 1930 in Wilsonville, KY to the late Roscoe and Virginia Huffman. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Kathleen Patricia Huffman, brothers; Michael (Pat), Roy (Thresa), John (Jolene), Donnie (Judy) and sister, Dorothy Age (Warner).
He was a graduate of Fern Creek High School, proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired from CSX Railroad in 1996 after 30.5 years of service.
Roscoe is survived by his two children; Terry Lynn Roberson (Terry) and Anthony Dean Huffman (Ellen), grandchildren; Nicky Porter (Ben), Cody Roberson (Ceciley), Stephanie Button (Daniel), along with great-grandchildren, Benjamin Porter and Everly Roberson. He is also survived by his brother, Ronnie Huffman (Carol), sisters; Betsey Jones, Joan Shelton, Martha Longworth (Lonnie), Hope Shuffler (Tom), Pam Nuzum (Jim) and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the time of the service at 12:00 pm on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243) with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
