Jean Rogers, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 27, 2014. She enjoyed collecting angels, reading and especially spending time with her family. She loved her beloved dog, Tinker who was never far from her side.

Jean was born on August 28, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Charles and Zelpha Buckley. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, John David Rogers and brother, Jasper Buckley.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Gewanna (Tony) Meeks; son, David Rogers; daughter, Donna Rogers (Bubby); grandchildren, Brandon, Cody, Tiffany, Jared and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Skylar and Brayden; brother and caregivers, Charles (Ruby) Buckley and brother, Wilbur (Linda) Buckley.

Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville) and Friday, October 31, 2014 from 11am-1pm with funeral services beginning at 1pm.
