1932 - 2015

Dorothy C. Hazlett, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky went home to Jesus on May 22, 2015. She was an avid artist and swimmer. Dottie was an all-around great mom. She was an active member of Southeast Christian Church. Dottie was a long time employee of Stewart Dry Goods and Price-Weber.

Dottie was born on November 12, 1932, Charleston, West Virginia to the late Donald and Kathleen Cook. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Hazlett and her sister, Jane Stewart.

Dottie is survived by her children, Laura Cook, Bob Hazlett (Sandra), Lisa Marie Bolin (Dale), and Tom Hazlett (Tracey); grandchildren, Jill Blair, Andrea Bailey, Sarah Hodges, Robbie Bolin, Austen Cross, Kyle Hazlett, Lee Hazlett, and Cooper Hazlett; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

A Celebration of Dottie’s Life will be held at Southeast Christian Church (920 Blankenbaker Parkway Louisville, KY) on Tuesday, May 26 at 10 AM in the Chapel.
Visitation will take place in the Fireside Room from 9-10AM.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to The Wings of Refuge, 11805 Brinley Ave, Louisville, KY 40243, (www.wingsofrefuge.org).
