1931 - 2015

Ernest Dooley "Junior" Neal, Jr., 84, passed away on March 2, 2015. He was a member of Community Church of God/Highview Church of God for over 50 years. He was a faithful servant for the Lord. Ernest was full of laughs.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ivy Neal and father, Ernest Neal, Sr.; sister, Alma Rose Hazelwood and brother, J.W. Neal.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lillie Neal; children, Betty (Carl) Adkins, Randall (Nancy) Neal and Carolyn Cox; grandchildren, Tommy, Jr., Matthew, Mark, Isaac and Tonya; great-grandchildren, Justin, Austin, Ryan and Tyler; siblings, Nancy (Charlie) Eddington, Delores Jean (Pete) Roarx and Lavon (Joan) Neal; son-in-law, Thomas (Mona) Yates; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Neal many special nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway) from 11am-3pm with a celebration of Ernest's life beginning at 3pm at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home.

Rev. Frank Scott and Pamela Tolle will be officating.

The family asks that expressions of sympathy be made by monetary gifts to Betty Adkins.



Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
