Margie was born on April 5, 1952, in Battletown, Kentucky, to the late Jesse Kenley and Wanda Lou (Eldridge) Taylor. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Jeannie Green and Roger Dale Kenley.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Roger D. Carroll, Sr.; sons, Roger D. Carroll, Jr., and Jody Lee Carroll; grandchildren, Jamie Carroll, Brandy Carroll, Roger Denton, Kimmy Carroll, and Jaxon Carroll; sister, Pammy Himelright; and several other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Otterbein Cemetery in Laconia, Indiana.
Memorial donations in Margie’s name may be made to the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (7725 North College Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240).
