Francis Gerald (Jerry) Osborne, age 82 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at his home in Louisville. He was a graduate of St. Xavier High School, an Air Force veteran, and father of six. He was a successful builder and real estate developer who volunteered his time with Anchorage theater and traveled extensively after retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Walter and Clevie Marie Clements Osborne; his sister Teresa Osborne; and brothers Joseph, Matthew and Paul Osborne.

Jerry is survived by his former wife Ruth Yunker Osborne; his brothers Edward, John, and Cyril Osborne, and his sisters Marie Higgins and Margaret Lucore; his children Philip, Joan, Leo, Stewart and Rebecca Osborne and Sara Lucia; and his seven (soon to be eight) grandchildren.

To honor his request, Jerry's remains will be donated to the University of Louisville Medical School. A memorial celebration for family and friends will be held 12:00 noon Sunday November 2nd at KT's, 2300 Lexington Road, Louisville.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jerry's honor to Boys Haven in Louisville (boyshaven.org).
