Mable Smith, 77, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Green Valley Care Center. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and quilting in her spare time. Mable was a member of the Church of God in downtown Louisville.

Mable was born on September 27, 1935 in Manchester, Kentucky to the late C.P. and Sudie (Henson) Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer Smith; and daughter, Nancy Clark.

She is survived by her children, Hazel Tullos (Mitch), Shirley Watson (Joey), Michael Smith, Donald Smith (Petra), Roy Smith (Belinda); 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9 AM to 11 AM Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with burial to immediately follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth, Indiana.
