Sarah Tubb, 92, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023. Sarah was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She retired from GE after 23 years of service. Sarah loved flowers and enjoyed spending time tending to her flower beds. She had a warm personality and had the unique ability to make everyone feel welcomed. Sarah will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on March 9, 1930 to Charles and Myrtle (Inman) Turner. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lessie Tubb; mother, Myrtle Johnson; father, Charles Turner; granddaughter, Christina K. Reece; and son, Steven Reece.

Sarah is survived by her loving family, son, Terry Reece, Sr.; half-sister, Rita Johnson; grandchildren, Terry (Tracy) Reece, Jr., Bobby Reece, Lisa Ellison, Christopher (Shady) Reece; nieces, Jeanie (Mike) Conrad, Barbara Abner; as well as a host of great-grandchildren, extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Her Funeral Service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.

Sarah will be laid to rest at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 1:30 p.m.

The family requests that contributions in Sarah’s memory be made to Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions-Southwest Louisville Chapel to help with final expenses.
