Vicki Sue (Thompson) "Suzanne" Boothe

Vicki Sue "Suzanne" (Thompson) Boothe, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.

She was born in Louisa, Kentucky, to the late James Walter and Sarah (Griffith) Thompson. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy (Thompson) Skaggs and Maxine (Thompson) Payton; as well as 3 brothers, Estill Thompson, Everett Thompson, and Charles Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her beloved great-grandson, Grayson Carter Waugh.

Suzanne is survived by her daughter, Charli Griffith (formerly, Darrla Waugh); son, Craig Waugh, Sr. (Linda); brother, Seibert Thompson (Diane); seven amazing grandchildren, Sarah Catherine Waugh (Michael Mettler), Caleb Jordan Spriggs (Angel), Justin Mathew Staser, Craig Martin Waugh, Jr. (Kayce), Kayla Kathleen Waugh, John David Waugh, and Katelyn Grace Waugh. She is also survived by eight wonderful great-grandchildren, Allan David Mettler, Temperance Mae Mettler, Amadeus Jordan Joseph Mettler, Griffin Michael Mettler, Lyra Pearl Lee Spriggs, Leia Ray Spriggs, Hannah Mae Waugh, and Avalynne Rayne Waugh. In addition to the above family, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Friendship Cemetery in New Albany.
