Luetta lived in southern Indiana most of her adulthood, except for 8 years in Florida. She graduated from New Albany High School and retired from American Commercial Barge Line.
Luetta loved to travel. She and Don visited all 50 states and 12 foreign countries. She was an avid quilter, making over 100 quilts. Her favorite quilt was made with fabric from dresses from her Aunt Luly and grandmother, Etta, who she was named after.
Luetta loved her church, Georgetown Christian Church (Indiana) and New Day Christian (Florida). She was part of several teams working behind the scenes to support the church. Luetta attended a weekly Bible study and assisted Don with his position as Deacon.
