Lillie Jean (Atwood) Lackey Luallen, 92, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022. She was an active member of TOPS and Christ Community Church of the Nazarene.

She was born on June 19, 1930, in New Albany to Carl and Vina (Sheckell) Atwood. In addition to her parents, Lillie was preceded in death by her husbands, Loren Lackey and Walter Luallen; and siblings, Beverly Atwood, Vollie Atwood, Virginia Jones, and Vernia McCollum.

Lillie is survived by her sons, Roy (Janet), Timothy (Cindy), Eric (Lura), and Micah (Janlea) Lackey; daughter, Brooklynn Lackey; eleven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 9:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
