Harvey Landrus, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022. Harvey enjoyed being in the outdoors, gardening, fishing, and boating. He was a loving and devoted Husband, Father,Grandfather, and caregiver to his two dogs "Dolly" and "Pippa". Harvey graduated from Seneca High School. He worked as an self employed auto mechanic for Landrus & Son Sunoco, later to be named Landrus Services. Harvey also worked for UPS for nine years before retiring from both careers. He was the jokester of the family and always was making those around him laugh. Harvey was kindhearted and would help anyone in need. His laugh and love will be missed by all those who knew him.

He was born on June 4, 1945 in New Albany, Indiana to Keith and Lydia Landrus. He is preceded in death by his Parents.

Harvey is survived by his loving Wife of 47 years, Peggy Landrus, Children, Bob Iles, Billie Iles, Dennis (Peggy) Lipscomb, Matthew (Mallica) Landrus, and Joan Hutchison, Grandchildren, Kevin, Bob, Anna, Hank, Tommy, Megan, and Kyle, Great-Grandchildren, Katie, Isiah, Owen, Evan, Asher, Wyatt, and Camron, Sister, Nancy Landrus. Harvey also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Friends and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 5:00 pm on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.

The family requests that contributions in Harvey’s memory be made to Alzheimer's Association.
