Mila Calope Aguila, 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on unexpectedly on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Mila was a giving, caring and selfless soul. She never hesitated to give help to those who are in need. She was a very good cook and loved to cook for every occasion. She was a jolly person that loved to hang out with friends and have fun. We will all miss her more than words can say.

She was born on January 6, 1959 in Philippines to Ulpiano and Matilde (Joven) Calope, and Immigrated to the United States in 1997. She is preceded in death by her Parents

Mila is survived by her loving Husband of 45 years, Ghill Aguila, Son, Jeffrey "JR" Aguila (Danielle Kennedy), Grandson, Jaden Aguila, Siblings, Jesus Joven Plaza, Meriam Plaza, Jim Plaza, and Merlyn Plaza. Mila also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Friends who were like family to her. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Reception (10304 Dixie Highway). Visitation will resume on Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home- Southwest Chapel.
