Danny Louis Reesor, 65, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022. He graduated from Elizabethtown High School in 1975 and went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force. Danny was an officer for the Radcliff Police Department and the Veterans Affairs Department in Louisville. He was an active member of FOP Lodge #099 and a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans.

He was born on August 18, 1956, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, to the late John "Buck" and Martha "Lucy" (Vessels) Reesor. Danny is survived by his loving wife, Gail (Wallace) Reesor; children, Brian McDonald (Pam), Andy McDonald (Beth), Ramona Daugherty Carter, Andrea Miller (Cody), April Brost (Jonah), John Reesor (Danielle), LaJeana Meehan (Chris); grandchildren, Bryan, Ashley, Joshua, Colin, Bella, Hailey, Celeste, Chase, Parker, Chelsea, Cole, Carter, Devan, Kassidy, Trinity, Christine, Gracie, Destiny, Dominic, Aiden, Alaiyah, Jacob, Jax, Isaiah, Lucy-Jo, Joel; and siblings, John "Eddie" Reesor (Melanie), Paula Reesor (Barbara) and Penny Reesor.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his funeral service and military honors taking place at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will follow according to Danny's wish.
