In Memory Of
Donna Skinner
1951 - 2022
She spent her career in service to others in hospital administration, most recently in emergency preparedness for the Kentucky Hospital Association, a job she loved. She also retired from South Central Bell. Donna grew up in the south end of Louisville and loved the Kentucky Derby. She always had an emphasis on spending time with her family. Some of her favorite things were watching Chase play “It’s My Life”, getting “big hugs” from her grandkids, and writing the Christmas letter for Tommy’s Christmas party.
Donna is preceded by her parents, and her siblings, Billy Moss, Patsy & Ralph Arnold. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Tom Skinner; her children, Danny Ray Covington (Kelly), Dana Covington Klein (Tim), Chase Skinner; her step sons, Thomas E. “Tommy” Skinner Jr. (Giuliana), Carl Daniel “Danny” Skinner (Sara); her 12 grandchildren; her sisters Marilyn Bryant (Jimmy- dec.) & Sharon Howlett (Jimmy- dec.); her brothers, Tommy Moss (Brenda) & Kevin Moss (Rhonda); her sister-in-law, Joann Moss, and other relatives and friends who will all miss her very much.
Donna was strong in Christian faith, and we are comforted in knowing she is now in the arms of her Savior.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville) with additional visitation hours on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 12:00PM – 1:00PM with service to follow at 1:00PM.
