Roland F. Steiner Sr., 90, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022. Roland was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a proud veteran who loved his country deeply. After retiring from civil service he volunteered for The American Red Cross where he traveled across the country serving many communities responding to disasters. He had a smile that could light any room and a love for his family that was extraordinary. Roland will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor and pleasure of knowing him.

He was born on August 25, 1931 in Stuttgart, Germany. He is preceded in death by his Parents and Wife, Katheleen Steiner.

Roland is survived by his loving family, Children, Roland F. (Yvonne) Steiner, Jr., Kelly (David) Waddle, and Amy (Bill) Easley; Grandchildren, Christine (Matt) Gambrell, Greg (Jessica) Steiner, Zach (Nicole) Waddle, Alexis Easley, Shelby Easley, Luke Easley, and Avery Easley; Great-Grandchildren, Amelia, Olivia, Anastasia, Riley, Willow, and Rosie; Bonus Daughter, Robin Goodwin as well as a host of family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

A memorial gathering will be Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 9022 Cottingham Way, Louisville, KY, 40258, from 12pm-5pm.

The family requests that contributions in Roland’s memory be made to Hosparus of Louisville or The American Red Cross.
