Patricia Ann "Pat" (Owens) Mitchell, 77, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021. Pat was a member of Scottsville Christian Church in Floyds Knobs, Indiana, and of Second Street Church of Christ in Pulaski, Tennessee. She enjoyed traveling and collecting antiques and was known for being an incredible hostess. Of all her pastimes and accomplishments, her favorite was being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was born on May 23, 1944, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late William Roscoe Owens and Mildred Jean (Peace) LeBeda. Along with her parents, Pat is preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Mitchell; and infant son, Robert Todd Mitchell.

Pat is survived by her loving children, Jim (Jo Ann) Mitchell, Matt (Barbara) Mitchell, and Amy (Jeffrey) Downs; sister, Geraldine "Gerry" Blankenship; grandchildren, Joshua (Melody) Mitchell, Lauren Downs, Julia Downs, and Gray Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Christian Smiley, Jacob Mitchell, and Cameron Mitchell.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
