Allen Brent Midkiff, 67, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021. Allen loved hunting and fishing, especially on the family farm in Hartford, Kentucky. He was an avid ham radio enthusiast and loved talking to people all over the world. He worked for many years at the P. Lorillard Tobacco factory and Orion Air. He later purchased his own dump truck and moved to Michigan to pursue his dream job.

He was born on May 28, 1954, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Lester Midkiff and Dorothy (Carden) Midkiff. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Patti.

Allen is survived by his children, Brittany Midkiff Paul and Matthew Midkiff; brother David (Pam); sister; Amy (Kelly); 3 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews and many long-time friends.

Cremation was chosen following Allen's wishes. He will be laid to rest at Concord Cemetery in Ohio County, Kentucky.
