Glenn Allen Carey, age 73 of Jeffersontown, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021. Glenn worked in Seeding and Sodding his whole life. He had a passion for working outside in the yard and caring for his roses. His second passion was spoiling his great-grandchildren. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Evan and Emma Carey; siblings, Bob, Bill, Kenneth, Ricky, Sharon and Susan.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 33 years, Paula; children, Roy Tingle and Kimberly Carey; six grandchildren, Alyssa Alexander (Damien), Amber Hutchins (Seth), Justin Waldridge (Brittany), Roy Thomas, Addie Mora (Efrain) and John Luke; ten great-grandchildren, Kayden, Brooklyn, Isabelle, Jordan, Justin, Madison, Levi, Jayda, Efrain and Kingsley; brothers, Ralph Carey and Paul Carey (Kathy); and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 1 to 6pm on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243, and on Monday, August 9th from 9:30 until time of service at 11am. Burial will follow at Jeffersontown Cemetery.
