He was born on December 13, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William, Sr. and Isabel (Schneider) Simpson. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Vincent Simpson.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Joy Simpson, daughter, Amanda Drury (Matt), grandchildren, Isabel Drury, Thomas William"Will" Drury, siblings, Dorothy Jenkins, Edward Simpson, Paul Simpson, Stephen Simpson (Michelle), John Simpson and Roseann Purvis (Mike).
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243 with burial to follow at Pennsylvania Run Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
