1932 - 2021

Jean Kathryn "Jeannie" (Frederick) Losch, 89, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. Jeannie was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, the Shrine Club Ladies Guild, and the Red Hat Society. She loved crocheting and reading and always enjoyed socializing and being around people.

Jeannie was born on January 31, 1932, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Dominic and Eva (Kamer) Frederick. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Losch; and sisters, Augusta Lynch and Sr. Mary Dominic Frederick, O.S.B.

Jeannie is survived by her loving children, Steven Losch, Kathy Andrews, and Karen (Steve) Carpenter; grandchildren, Heather (Craig Harvey) Andrews, John (Samantha) Andrews, David Andrews, Amber (Christopher) Eades, and Austin Carpenter; great-grandchildren, Daniel and Jack Andrews; niece, Diane (Alvin) Popp; nephew, Thomas (Danane) Lynch; great-niece, Amy Popp; and great-nephew, Logan (Jade) Popp.

A Private Visitation for the family will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions-New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). A Private Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

The family requests that contributions in Jeannie’s memory be made to the Andrews Harvey Foundation (1101 Maclaren Ct., Franklin, IN 46131) or to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
