Jon Alan Meyer, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021.

He was born July 20, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky to Edgar and Juanita (Landers) Meyer. He is also preceded in death by his father Edgar Meyer.

He graduated from the University of Louisville in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Major in Accounting. He retired from Jones, Nale and Mattingly PLC where he served as managing partner from 1993 until 2010.

Jon was a member of the Episcopal Church. He was an avid tennis fan and player for many years and served as President of the Kentucky Tennis Association from 1998 until 1999.

Jon is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Connie Lee Meyer, mother, Juanita Ruth Meyer, sons Ross and Matt Meyer and brother Gary Meyer (Kim).

All services are private and he will be laid to rest at Chenoweth Run Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions in Jon’s memory be made to The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth or Hosparus
