Vivian Mae Slaughter, 93, of West Point, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Vivian enjoyed music, playing the piano, and singing. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and loved spending time with friends and family. Vivian enjoyed her birthday parties and most recent birthday parade. She was a devoted Christian and her faith was a very important part of her life.

She was born on May 21, 1927 in Battletown, Kentucky to Roy and Nell Davis. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Frank Asher, and Husband, Sidney Slaughter, Sons, Steve Asher, and Mike Asher, Daughter, Linda Webb, and Brothers, James Adrian Davis, and William Joseph Davis, Sisters, Julia Delores Davis, Lois Fern Davis, and Laura Lee Davis.

Vivian is survived by her Grandchildren, Theresa (Mike) Davis, Kimberly (George) Hefler, Timothy (Tabitha) Jackson, Daniel (Shelly) Jackson, Leah (Jacob) Zink, and Justin Webb. Vivian also leaves behind to cherish her memory 13 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
