Mary Jo Nevitt, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Mary Jo was a loving wife and mother. She adored her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her furbabies and loved spending time with them all.

She was born on June 7, 1945 in Fairdale, Kentucky to Joseph and Christine (Doyle) Wittmer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Charles and Christine Wittmer.

Mary Jo is survived by her loving Husband of 56 years, Dean Nevitt; children, Richard Dean (Damaris) Nevitt and Kimberly Jo (James) Waddle; grandchildren, Jessica (Dominick) Nevitt, Calvin Nevitt, Madison Nevitt, Nicholas Waddle, Avery Nevitt, and Dylan Waddle; great-grandchildren, Luxe Burns, Remi Burns, and Irie Burns; siblings, Patrick Gale (Rodney) Wittmer, Linda Allen, and Joanie Carol (John) Cox. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.
