Michael "MikeMike Aka JR" Lamont Bass Jr., 18, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021. Michael was an excellent athlete and was an All-Star, he played little league football for Shively Seminoles, Packers, and Yellow Jackets. He played AAU Basketball for Truth and Elite. Michaeal then went on to play for Valley High School High and was currently enrolled at Waggner High School. He enjoyed playing Video Games with his friends and listening to Music. He was a big guy that a had a big heart for all those around. Michael was always the tough guy but had the heart of gold. Micheal will be missed by all who knew him, and played with him.

He was born on October 24, 2002 in Louisville, Kentucky to Michael and Maranesha (Williams) Bass. He is preceded in death by his Father, Michael Bass, Sr., Brother, Marando Franklin, Grandfathers, Basil Woods, Sr., and James Bass, Jr., Great Grandparents, and Uncle, Malcom Bass.

Michael is survived by his Mother, Maranesha Williams-Bass, Sister, Beautiful Bass, Niece, Tamera Thompson-Franklin, Nephew, Kingston Morton, Grandmothers, Madeline Williams, and Charline George, Uncles, Glen Williams, Mark Bass, and Carlos Woods. Michael also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Cousins, Friends, Teammates, Classmates, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
