George Tunney Alexander, 70, of Fairdale, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021. George enjoyed spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing. He also liked sitting on the porch listening to music and cooking on the grill, and was famous for his Johnsonville Brats. George favorite snacks were his Dove Bars and Hershey Chocolates. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his 4 dogs.

He was born on March 28, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to Earnest and Rebecca (Nix) Alexander. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers, Jimmy Stayton, Kenneth Alexander, Robert Stayton, William Alexander, Sr., Terry Wayne, and Michael Stevens, and Step-Father, JB Wathen.

George is survived by his loving Wife of 23 years, Denise Alexander, Son, Michael Vaughn, Daughter, Michelle Jones, Son, Matthew Vaughn, Son, Mitchel Vaughn, Daughter, Mandi Vaughn, Brother, Ernest Alexander. George also leaves behind to cherish his memory 10 Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
