Virginia Marlow, 87, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021. Virginia loved cooking for her family and loved spending time with them. She loved gardening, traveling, and always made you feel at home when you visited. Her gift was always making people feel loved and seeing the positives when life got rough. She never met a stranger and always had a smile on her face. She will be truly missed by all of the lives she touched.

She was born on September 1, 1933 in Louisville, Kentucky to Dave and Janey Newman. She is preceded in death by her father, Dave Newman, Sr., mother, Janey Newman, and sister, Linda Kuchenbrod.

Virginia is survived by her loving Husband of 62 years, Kenneth Marlow; daughter, Terri (Randy) Marlow; grandson, Chris Couch; grandchildren, Iesa Couch, Sofia Couch. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Virginia’s memory be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
