Sharon Ann Orr (Jackson), 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Sharon was a great mother and wife. She was a loving and caring friend and never met a stranger. She loved to play the piano at her church and she loved her little Lucy. She was a devoted member of Brooks Baptist Church for over 10 years.
She was born on August 28, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to Everett and Helen Jackson. She is preceded in death by her father, Everett Paul Jackson, Jr., mother, Helen Brown; step-daughter, Alisha Starr Orr, and sister, Karen Lee Cash.
Sharon is survived by her loving Husband of 32 years, Michael Lee Orr; children, Paul Lansing (Erin) Helm and Lisa Maria (James) Fields; step-daughter, Melanie Sue Orr; grandchildren, Elizabeth Hope Fields, Jacob Austin Fields, and Timothy Andrew Mainous; siblings, Jeannie (Denny) Shelburne, Eddie (Tenna) Jackson, and Billy Jo (Kevin) Crady, aunt, Laverne Gibson; cousin, Lynne (Michael) Boyer; 10 nieces and nephews and a whole host of other family that will cherish her loving memory forever.
Family will have a memorial service on Saturday March 6, 2021 at Noon at Brooks Baptist Church (3837 Coral Ridge Rd Brooks, KY 40109). masks will be mandatory in order to enter the building.
