In Memory Of
Shirley Ann (Able) Stiller
1937 - 2021

Shirley Ann (Able) Stiller, age 83 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away quietly on February 19, 2021 at Sycamore Heights Health and Rehabilitation. She is preceded in death by her mother, Madora Irene (Miller) Able and her father Louis Edward Able, to whom she was born on June 28, 1937.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband, Richard Stiller; brother, David Able (Linda); children, Stephen Keeling (Roswitha), Kathy Harrod (Dennis), Michael Keeling (Laura) and Angela Keeling (Dave); stepchildren, John Stiller (Brenda) and Tricia Henry (Don); nephews, Wayne (Angie) and Chris (Julie); grandchildren, David (Julie), Ryan (Lillian), Katie (Wesley) and Emily (Alex); step-grandson, Tate; and great grandchildren, Autumn, Mason and Charlotte.

Shirley was a talented graduate of the University of Louisville. She was a member of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville where she eagerly participated in services and in events. Her love for the Lord and her devotion to her family and friends shone through the contagious joy she shared under all circumstances. With her belated education, her artistic accomplishments and her many travels she taught us by her example and by her constant encouragement that we should dare to pursue our dreams with passionate faith.

Because of the pandemic there are no services planned for now but rather for the summer.

In lieu of flowers it is suggested that contributions be made to the American Heart Association to celebrate Shirley's tremendous generosity. The family also wishes to express deep appreciation to all those social and healthcare workers who gave such tender care to Shirley in the last year of her life.
