She was born on February 12, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Frances (Gaskill) Manning. She is also preceded in death by her father Bill Washburn, step-father John Underhill, Sr., brothers John Underhill, Jr., Terry Washburn, sister Pamela Washburn and in-laws Richard, Sr. and Dolly Nix.
Cherie was a loving and devoted Wife, Mom, Grammy, Maymay, Sister and Aunt. She had a passion for shopping, enjoyed bowling, watching softball games and spending time with her family.
Cherie is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Jacob "Jack" Anthony Nix, Sr., two children Sara Roby (Robert), Jacob "Jackie" Anthony Nix, Jr. (Brittani), four grandchildren Jacob Anthony Nix, III, Hailey Roby, Liam Nix, Kasey Roby, siblings Lisa Lacher (Tom), Debbie Underhill and brother and sisters in-law, Richard Nix, Jr. (Patti), Debbie Anspach and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current Covid19 guidelines all services are private.
